THE BEATLES - 20 X 4

MICHAEL STANLEY 1969 Smooth As Raw SILK

The band was actually on the verge of breaking up when they were offered a gig that got them signed to ABC Records and 2 weeks on Billboard Top LP's & Tapes.
Bill Szymczyk was sent from New York to Cleveland to find talent. He found two groups, the James Gang ( Joe Walsh) and Silk ( Michael Gee). He was impressed enough from their live gig to offer a record contract, and the result was "Smooth As Raw""Not A Whole Lot I Can Do", "Walk In My Mind" and "Come On Down Girl", you get a glimpse of what was to come. This is the first part in the musical legacy of Michael Stanley!

THE RASCALS - TIME PEACE

Released June 24 1968 and was RIAA-certified as a Gold Record September 4, 1968.
Many still claim it to be the Greatest Greatest-Hits Album of the '60s.
That would explain why it's another Out Of Print Deleted Title!
This includes the missing track "People Got To Be Free"

DAMNATION OF ADAM BLESSING

A Cleveland band signed to United Artist but never receive nationwide support from the label. This is their first 1969 release that falls under Psych Rock. Considered by most their best and I agree.
They would drop Adam Blessing from their name (seemed Adam was a bit full of himself) and released Damnation. Their second album is great but the band clearly went in a more Hard Rock direction.
