A band originally from the Ohio River Valley region it's members came from in and around the Pittsburgh PA area. Wikipedia says their from Weirton WV which is incorrect. One band member moved from there to live in PA.
Even though this lp was praised by the New York Times and declared the "Debut Album Of The Year" by Rolling Stone Magazine the label totally blew it! The band received major airplay in Cleveland and Baltimore which just happen to be the only cities (by accident) the label got copies distributed for purchase. This lp is excellent from start to finish!
