LED ZEPPELIN LIVE Richfield Coliseum 1977

Superb soundboard recording from the first of two night shows at the Coliseum,  part of their 1977 North American Tour.  This was the first, and for many years the only, professionally recorded mixing desk tape to escape from the band's possession. This bootleg should not be confused with an audience recording from the following night show!
The Richfield Coliseum opened in 1974 and was located halfway between Cleveland and Akron. The home of the Cleveland Cavaliers it hosted the 1981 NBA All-Star Game and many great concerts. It was closed in 1994 when the team moved to Gund Arena. There was talk of converting it into a prison but it sat empty and was demolished 1999.
